Make your own skin care products with apple
Apple cheeks who doesn’t want them? Now this can be very literal with the tips to make your own skin care products. And with apple. Apples, besides having a beneficial effect on your inner health, also have that on our outside.
Today, three easy recipes to make yourself.
Skin care products with apple
Beautiful inside and out! It can be done with Marlene apples from South Tyrol. Because these apples are not only delicious to eat, they are also good for the skin. For it is well known that apples have a beneficial effect on our inner health thanks to a generous dose of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. And that these nutritious substances also have a positive effect on our outside makes apple an excellent ingredient for cosmetics.
Its rich carotene content, natural antioxidants and mix of vitamin A are a benefit for the skin. Ideal for making your own personal care products
Three simple recipes for external use.
Marlene apples are rich in the typical fruit acids frequently used in cosmetics for their detoxifying and nourishing effects on our skin. Moreover, the acids and pectin stimulate cell renewal and the mineral salts regenerate the epidermis. Marlene Apples now comes up with three easy recipes for making skincare products.
Granny Smith rejuvenating face mask
This quick mask is suitable for stimulating skin renewal with a strong anti-aging effect. Puree an unpeeled Marlene Granny Smith in the blender until it becomes a consistent mousse. Add a tablespoon of almond oil and a tablespoon of liquid honey.
Apply the mask to the face and décolleté, leave it on for a few minutes. Then rinse off with water. The result is velvety soft and radiant skin.
You feel the freshness of the mountain air in South Tyrol, where Marlene apples come from.
Fuji scrub for the body
To prepare the skin for the first rays of the sun, it is good to do a light exfoliation with natural ingredients. With a few tablespoons of pulp of a Marlene Fuji from the blender and finely ground hazelnuts, it is possible to make a cleansing exfoliant that can rid the skin of stress and impurities. Mix this with two tablespoons of oatmeal (for exfoliating action) and one tablespoon of nut oil. Also add a few drops of fresh lemon juice for an additional detoxifying effect. Gently massage the mixture into the skin and leave it for a few minutes, then rinse off well in the shower.
The result: fragrant fresh skin that feels nice and soft without impurities.
Red Delicious night oil
This emulsion is suitable for moisturizing the skin before going to bed. To make it yourself, fill a glass jar 3/4 full of sunflower oil, or almond oil if you have a dry house. Remove the core of an unpeeled red apple and cut into thin slices.
Red varieties, such as the Marlene Red Delicious or Fuji, have more softening properties in their skins than green apples. Fill a quarter of the pot with the thinly sliced slices. Let soak for three days and strain through a coarse colander.
Massage the substance carefully before bedtime. Your skin will feel soft and smooth the next morning, fresh for a new day. To keep the mixture good longer, keep it cool and dark in a small glass bottle.
Sustainability and thinking about the environment also in skin care
Now I am increasingly concerned with sustainability, I no longer use bottled shampoo but a shampoo bar, I separate all my waste, use little plastic and am aware of the fact that we have the earth on loan. Even with my personal care products I make sure the packaging is environmentally conscious. Yet I had never thought of making this myself.
When I read the above, it’s very easy for me, so I know what to do.
The Marlene apple, a tasty apple
At a lunch where all the recpts were made with Marlene apples was already hinted at the care products you can also make with these apples. Now of course you can use other brands of apples, but I just want to say that the Marlene apples are very tasty apples, so if you come across them, try them.
